Archer, HD Film, 12'23, 2016

“Archer” investigates the similarities between the archer’s practice and the camera’s characteristics. Both archer and filmmaker are framing, perceiving, “shooting”. The observing camera approaches both archer and filmmaker sculpturally, defining the tension of bodies and their relation to the space.

Archer was filmed at the Renaat Braem Pavillion at the Middelheim Sculpture Museum in Antwerp.
